This is a Guide To Micro-Needling. Everything you need to know about my personal experience with Micro-Needling will be shared. First off, in any of my Guide Posts, I share my personal experiences as well as what I have seen professionally.

Micro-needling is a process where tiny wounds are created in the skin to cause the skin to go into a defense and produce healthy SKIN cells to save the skin cells under attack. Micro-needling is successful when performed in a controlled environment. All micro-needling devices are not created equal. The delivery of the needles and the depth are controlled by a licensed professional.

Acne Scars, Fine Lines and low level Hyper-pigmentation can be improved from a series of Micro-Needling treatments. The idea is that the SKIN will go into a combative reaction when being needled, thus producing more Collegen and elastin. As we age our skin produces less and less collegen, until it eventually will completely stop making collegen. Collegen is what gives us the youthful healthy skin we all desire.

Micro needling

SKIN by Kris has partnered with Regenerative Wellness to deliver the best possible results with PRP. PRP is our bodies Platelet-rich Plasma. Although blood is mainly a liquid (called plasma), it also contains small solid components (red cells, white cells, and platelets.) The platelets are best known for their importance in clotting blood. However, platelets also contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors which are very important in the healing of injuries.

PRP is plasma with many more platelets than what is typically found in blood. The concentration of platelets — and, thereby, the concentration of growth factors — can be 5 to 10 times greater (or richer) than usual.

To develop a PRP preparation, blood must first be drawn from a patient. The platelets are separated from other blood cells and their concentration is increased during a process called centrifugation. Then the increased concentration of platelets is combined with the remaining blood.

I have had both Micro-Needling with PRP and without. The body recognizes our PRP and is able to digest it much more effectively than any other topical serums. One of my biggest concerns with micro-needling is what we put on our faces afterwards. By using our own blood we are in a controlled healing process with our own healthy cells.

The down time of mico-needling is only a few days. Very similar to a bad sunburn, you will have redness and a bit of tightness. The actual treatment itself isn’t and should not be painful.

What to Expect During Micro-Needling Treatment

When you arrive for your treatment we will do a SKIN analysis and determine if you are a candidate. As long as you don’t have any healing issues or blood issues you are more than likely going to benefit from this treatment. Then we will apply the topical numbing cream. This I found to be the most essential part of a successful treatment. Then Bryan will perform a blood drawing to obtain the PRP. After you are nice and numb we will perform the needling. You shouldn’t feel more then something similar to fingertips making a “drumming” hard pressure on the skin. After the needling you go home nice and pink with the PRP applied on the face.

Down time and healing process

During the next few days you will feel tight and slightly uncomfortable. I recommend ice and a Hyaluronic Acid Serum as well as a Physical Sunscreen.

Results are typically seen within a few weeks and will continue for several months. Don’t hesitate to book your free consultation today! SKIN…..
